Company History:
Shackelford Machine Inc. was founded in 1967 by Carl J. Shackelford. Carl’s great ability and skilled experience as a machinist had allowed him to open his own business. The first beginnings started in a small shed at Carl’s property. Carl continued to grow the company with his great machining practices and his pride on customer satisfaction. The Company has since grown to a 35,000 SQ ft facility with additional buildings and plenty of room for additional growth and future adding on. The business is still family owned and operated. Carl had taught his son Jay Shackelford the business trade at a very early age. Jay still continues to grow the company and lead the business towards technology advancements and lean strategies. Jay is currently the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
